Fall Mums Sale through Wentworth Greenhouses - September/October
Commitment Level: Medium
Number of Coordinators Needed: 1-2
Responsibilities:
1. First week in September: Contact Barbara Flanagan at Wentworth Greenhouses - 603-742-1113 or [email protected]
2. Create an order form (or modify the form from Wentworth Greenhouses) and get it distributed to students - copy and sort into 16 piles of 20 for distribution in yellow folders. (Online order forms are great too, but we’ve found they work best as an addition to paper forms.) Make sure there is a CLEAR DUE DATE for orders to be completed and turned in
3. Contact our Social Media Coordinator to publicize the sale
4. Collect order forms and payments from the secretary (Kim Kumph) in the Front Office at NFS
5. Organize payments, tally funds, and contact our Assistant Treasurer to turn funds in
6. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator to get volunteers to help with pickup and distribution of Mums and the Social Media Coordinator to publicize the pickup details
7. If you need help with an online form or anything else, contact a Board Member

1. July/August - Contact the PTO Board to get the Book Fair Chairperson login info. (Or the previous Book Fair Coordinator - it has been Jen Yager for a few years)
2. Login at - https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/landing-page.html to schedule a fair. We try to plan our Book Fair to coincide with Open House - so check with Mrs. Simons before scheduling.
3. Contact the Social Media Chairperson to publicize the Fair. And the Volunteer Coordinator to send out a Sign-Up Genius for people to work shifts and to help with set-up and breakdown
4. Manage and divide any paper promotional materials into class sets - 19 sets of 20-25 - and bring them to the NFS Front Office for distribution in yellow folders.
5. 1-2 Weeks Prior - Ask teachers to schedule times for their class visit to the Fair.
6. 1 Week Prior - Plan for unloading and set-up of Fair - and contact Assistant Treasurer to arrange for a cash box
7. Week Of - Work shifts at the fair and be available to answer questions - contact Assistant Treasurer to coordinate any cash, check, or deposit needs
** This person also manages the Scholastic Dollars. The PTO uses these Scholastic Dollars to ensure that every student gets a book. This “money” has also sometimes been used to purchase books for the library.**
