NFS Cares
Every so often hardship falls upon a family in our midst at New Franklin School. The hardship can come in many forms: a death in the family, a fire/flood, a medical emergency and as we all know, sometimes a birth or adoption can require a little extra help. For these reasons the New Franklin School Cares Committee was started several years ago by a group of concerned parents who wanted to be able to quietly step in and offer help if needed. The Cares Committee provides assistance in a variety of ways; scheduling meal donations, rides to and from school, gift card collections for gas/groceries/pharmacies, and setting up play dates.

When we learn of a family in need, we will contact the committee to solicit assistance. There is no expectation for members to help with every ask - help when you are able!
If you ever know of a family that you think might be in need of some assistance, you can email the Cares CommitteeChair, Breegan Johnson, [email protected] or Mrs Simons: [email protected]. We will then contact the family to determine what help they may need or want. Family and circumstance details will remain confidential.
