Our Committees

Our committees are where great ideas turn into great experiences for our school community!
Whether you have a little time or a lot, there’s a place for you to jump in, meet other parents, and help make things happen.

EVENT COMMITTEE

We are looking for volunteers to help organize events.

WELLNESS

The NFS Wellness Committee is focused on educating kids, parents and teachers on proper nutrition, physical activity and dangers of too much screen time. Volunteers assist with our Healthy Try-Its program and other initiatives. For the latest Wellness Committee activities and information.

KINDERGARTEN PARENT BUDDIES

The NFS Kindergartner Parent Buddies Committee is made up of a group of "seasoned" parents that are paired up with new parents coming to NFS. It can be hard to start a new school and find your way through lots of new details and we would like to be able to extend a NFS friend to any incoming family that would like like one!

CORPORATE SPONSORS/DONATIONS

A new committee to NFS PTO this year, we'd like to form a committee to help solicit corporate sponsors and donations to help fund some of our programs, like e-School for 5th grade students or the NFS Garden Committee.
